“Lovely day and easy itinerary - starts early but it's for the best - starting in san Gimignano before crowds arrive, then moving on to a great winery - lunch is an option there, unless you're bringing food or buy something to go in san Gimignano, this is really the only lunch option so I recommend it. The tour itself is a nice mixture of walking and wine interspersed so you never feel overly tired. Vincenzo was an excellent guide and really added a lot of history to what we saw. Great day overall highly recommend”

“I have to say that my favorite part of this spectacular tour was meeting Sella at Monte Chiaro winery in Monteriggioni. Not only are the wines here outstanding but her love of wine, and regional foods are unmatched. She brings the wines to life with her presentation skills and we were sad to leave her. Sella says that "wine is food" and full of vitamins and nutrients. So, she has confirmed for me that wine for breakfast is a perfectly good way to start the day!”

“My boyfriend can be a nervous traveler, so I opted for private drivers from city to city, versus the train. This also allowed us to make stops along the way. This one in particular was excellent. The two stops were well worth seeing, and our driver dropped us off as close to the entrances as you can get, and was ready to pick us up once we were done. Very friendly driver.”

The wines were good, especially in Montalcino, and the bruschetta and cheeses were a nice touch. The meeting point was not great. We were given a spot to meet at the train station but the van picked up in a different area. If I would’nt have called the tour operator they would’ve left us behind.
